How your personal data is processed.
Data controller
Your data is processed jointly by the two Yaqib entities: • Yaqib Algeria, publisher of this site; • Yaqib France. These two structures are legally independent and act as joint controllers. Single point of contact for any request: contact@yaqib.com Given its size and the nature of its processing activities, Yaqib is not required to appoint a data protection officer.
Data collected
Via the contact form: name, organisation, email address, phone number, enquiry type and message content. No other personal data is collected without your knowledge: the site uses neither advertising networks nor third-party trackers.
Purposes
Data submitted through the form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange a demo of the platform.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, given when submitting the form, and on the publisher's legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries. It falls under a dual regime: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and Algerian Law No. 18-07 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data. As form messages are received in a mailbox hosted in France and accessed from Algeria, they may be transferred outside the European Union.
Retention period
Messages received through the contact form are kept in our mailbox for 3 years from our last exchange with you, in line with the recommended retention period for commercial prospecting. After that, they are deleted. You may request their deletion at any time by writing to contact@yaqib.com.
Recipients and processors
Your data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties. Form messages are delivered through OVH's SMTP service (France) and stored in a mailbox hosted by OVH. The site itself is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which processes technical connection logs.
Cookies
This site sets a single technical cookie, “locale”, which remembers your chosen language for one year. It is required for the multilingual site to work and enables no advertising tracking. The light/dark theme is kept in your browser's local storage (“yaqib-theme”), which is never sent to the server. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to contact@yaqib.com. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France) or the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (Algeria), depending on where you reside.
